Why Massage and Reiki?

For as long as I can remember I’ve wanted to be a healer. I’ve always had a passion for taking care of others and helping in any way I can. I entered the healthcare field right out of high school in 2011 as a CNA. I worked in various different settings until becoming a mom in 2018. After having kids, I decided I needed something more balancing. I was on a spiritual journey and a more holistic path already, when I stumbled across Indiana Wellness College. I decided to enter their Sports and Medical Massage program in April 2022. It was truly a pivotal moment and a life changing experience. I learned so much about myself, others, and most importantly how to help real people achieve healing on a holistic and personal level.

I graduated the Sports and Medical Massage program in April 2023. I began working in my hometown Marion, IN as an employee of another LMT at their private practice Heart and Soul Massage from May 2023 - June 2025. Over the course of my time at Heart and Soul Massage I gained so much experience working with various clients. I received certificates in continuing education courses for Reiki l - 2023, Reiki ll - 2024, and  Thai on the Table - 2024.
I really enjoy helping clients find themselves in their bodies again. Often times a part of the body has been in pain for awhile a person just doesn’t notice it until someone else touches that area. My job is to bring you back into awareness of your body and to work with the nervous system to relieve tension and pain. Every session is tailored specifically to the client and the issues at hand.
